Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm a lawyer, but not the kind you're probably imagining.
I qualified as a solicitor and built my career in commercial legal work. I created Launch Legal to make that experience useful to solopreneurs and small businesses: practical contracts, understandable guidance and support that reflects how your business actually works.
I spent years watching large businesses operate from complete legal confidence, knowing exactly what their contracts covered and exactly what to do when something went wrong. Then I started working with solopreneurs and freelancers building something just as real, with none of the same protection.
The gap was extraordinary. And completely unnecessary.
After my mum passed away in 2015, everything shifted. It made me rethink the difference I wanted to make. I had the knowledge to close that gap, I just needed a better way to share it.
So I built Launch Legal to make proper legal protection accessible and affordable, so budget is never the thing that holds your business back.
